Ophelia is a 38 year old single mother who has resided in Kansas all of her life. She's accomplished many things and feels it is only right for the parents of the children she will be caring for has an idea of her background and certifications.

"Although my background isn't in the direct support of children, I've had many years of training as a nurses' assistant and home health aide. This training, along with a degree in healthcare administration has prepared me to provide care to individuals from different age groups and has given me the training to assist anyone in the activities of daily living, medication administration, training in administering narcotics and the proper tracking and disposal of all medications, a trained eye to detect when someone is in cardiac arrest, having a stroke, or needs life saving CPR. My healthcare background has allowed me to develop wonderful customer care skills as well as the ability to manage many individuals at one time while ensuring that all state required documentation is completed. In a nutshell, I've been professionally trained to multitask."
