Services Provided

Let's Learn Together

The Imagination Station ensures that children are learning, no matter what they're doing. The services provided for toddlers  are as follows:

Let's Eat together

The Imagination Station knows that part of a child's ability to learn is being properly nourished. That is why we provide meals and snacks that cater to the growing child.

Milk, grain, fruit, fruit juice when provided, protein

protein, grain, fruit, veggie, water, milk, or fruit juice

Protein, grain, fruit, veggie, water, milk, or fruit juice

fruits, crackers,  popcorn, child-created snack, trail mix, Chex mix, etc.

Sometimes the child needs a little fun added to their diets which is why once a week, the child can enjoy a free day that allows them to eat what we like to term "junk food."

Ms. J no longer partners with Childcare Links for meals, because she likes a variation that isn't too strict for the child. What you eat at home is what you can expect for your child to eat at the Imagination Station. That means your child will eat a cookie, or brownies, or chips. On some Fridays, your child will have soda for the Matinee. This doesn't mean these items are given daily, it just means that kids will be kids at the Imagination Station, and that includes yummy treats.

Let's Create Together

As difficult as it may be for adults, children are at their best when they are able to venture out and do things on their own. We put together a curriculum that includes a lot of crafts to make learning fun, easier to understand, and more likely to stick.

When we aren't learning, we're playing. We have a large backyard that we can get into tons of fun in, and items for dress-up and pretend play.

On Fridays, cool activities are a must. We also like to enjoy the festivities that accompany holidays! See below a list of the fun we can get into:

Monthly birthday party

Bingo: Prize bingo, quarter bingo, picture bingo

Nature walks

Red light green light

We're Going On a Bear Hunt

and the Friday Matinee.

The best way to teach a second language is to add it to your child's vocabulary as young as possible. This makes the language more second nature than a process and ensures it can be used. Because Spanish is on the rise for being the Number 1 spoken language in the United States, it would give your child a great benefit of being bilingual later in life. Imagination Station works first hand with a bilingual individual that has been a friend of the providers for quite some time. She minored in Spanish because it was something easy to do given her Spanish background and fluency in the language. Her Spanish speaking is so fluent that she only knows the rosery in her native tongue! Together, with the staff of the Imagination Station, a Spanish curriculum is built to suit children ages 2-5yrs.

The infant and toddler curriculum isn't always the easiest to create, but with time and patience, it can be done. The Imagination Station tries to ensure our infants and toddlers have the daily interaction needed to learn, explore and play which develops their mind and spirit. Each area of the home, including the outdoor area, ensures to provide something for infants and toddlers to engage in.

Every Friday, the Imagination Station enjoys Friday Matinee. During the early parts of the day, we indulge ourselves in fun and creative activities, lots of play both indoors and outdoors, and a movie of the day. Disney Plus along with many other streaming platforms is used for children's viewing options. Let's just say Fridays are a relaxing type of day. Ms. J has been learning how to do nails and is now a licensed Manicurist through the state! That means Fridays will also be good for pedicures for all the kiddos.

Imagine A Journal

Journaling is  great way for children to begin using their new skills with writing and drawing. Each day, our kids will be prompted to write or draw in a journal, identifying things they've learned or have done the day prior. This helps children to develop those small motor skills needed to use a writing instrument, and to develop their letters and numbers recognition.

For toddlers and children with learning disabilities, Ms. J will jot down what the child worked on that day and their progress. To ensure they are still getting those small motor skills training, push pin activities will be used in place of writing, as well as painting, and cooking.
